Think music festivals on your doorstep would be good?
Think UHI.
The Highlands and Islands attract some of Britain’s brightest talents in music, literature, dance and the visual arts - all courses you can study here at UHI. Cultivated and supported within vibrant local communities, these talents are showcased at many festivals and events, including Rock Ness, Belladrum Tartan Heart, the Gaelic Mòd and the popular Highland Games circuit.
This faculty’s subjects are rooted in the culture and traditions of the Highlands and Islands. Among them, archaeology and cultural studies open up a rich and fascinating past. Visitors flock to the Highlands and Islands throughout the year to experience the local culture and see for themselves the setting of so many legends and traditions. As a student, you too can visit the many sites of historical significance, including castles, battlefields and ancient buildings and of course, revel in the stunning scenery!
