Pensions
All staff of UHI, subject to their being eligible under the terms of the Scheme, have the option of joining the Local Government Pension Scheme, as administered by Highland Council. The option to join the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) exists for those staff with current membership of the Scheme.
Discipline
UHI's disciplinary procedures and policies, harassment and bullying policy; other HR policies, not covered by any other class, where disciplinary action may follow if breached are currently under review and will be available in the new staff manual shortly.

UHI has established an Information and Consultation Committee whereby all employees through their elected representatives are able to exchange views and enter into dialogue with the senior management of the Executive office on changes in the working environment that may affect them.
