Year 4 - BA (Hons)
Year four is studied online via the VLE with support from your tutors and brings your management and business skills into sharp focus.
You will complete a dissertation and take modules including:- Strategic planning
- Leadership and management
- Marketing communications
- Innovation and e-business
Study options
- You will study this course through a combination of face-to-face tutorials and lectures at Dornoch Campus or via video conference from other campuses
- This is enhanced by regular practical, on-site tuition, field trips, guest lectures from leading industry figures and assistance in the running of the students’ own UHI Golf Club
- You will also study certain modules via the UHI virtual learning environment (VLE)

How long will my course last?
- Full time: 4 years @ 40 hours per week
- Part time (structured): 6 or 8 years @ 20 hours per week
- Part time (unstructured): 8 years @ 10 to 20 hours per week
Number of hours per week indicates the total number of hours you should dedicate to the course, which includes time spent in lectures and your own time spent on individual study and research.

How much will my course cost?
For students living in Scotland or the European Union, studying an undergraduate course (degree, HNC, HND) the following fees apply for the academic year 2012-13:

Can I progress into further study?
You can progress to the PgCert Leadership and Management, but you must be in employment to do so
