- Research methods and techniques (mandatory to continue to MSc)
Year 3 - MSc
To achieve the award of MSc Interpretation: Management and Practice you must complete a research dissertation
Study options
- You will study this course online through the UHI Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and by distance learning.
- You will learn online through video lectures, interviews with practitioners, presentations, industry case studies, e-books and academic articles on UHI's VLE
- These are complemented by regular scheduled discussions with tutors and fellow students, telephone tutorials and one-to-one study skills assistance.
- This course has been approved for in-country international delivery. It may also be studied by international students based within the UK.
How long will my course last?
- Full time: 1 year @ 40 hours per week
- Part time (structured): 3 years @ 20 hours per week
- Part time (unstructured): 6 years (maximum) @ 10 hours per week per module
Number of hours per week indicates the total number of hours you should dedicate to the course, which includes time spent in lectures and your own time spent on individual study and research.
