ALPINE Mentoring: A Briefing for new and aspiring ALPINE Mentors
This one hour briefing session will explore the requirements for colleagues mentoring for ALPINE, the university's framework for recognition of good practice in learning and teaching, supporting learning and teaching, and leading in learning and teaching. ALPINE offers three routes to Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA), the session will focus on mentoring for the portfolio or professional practice route.

Alex Walker, ALPINE coordinator and ALPINE Mentoring lead will explain the mentoring requirements for colleagues supporting ALPINE applicants working towards submitting a portfolio of professional practice for recognition as Associate Fellow, Fellow and Senior Fellow of the HEA.
Alex will also explain the support available for new mentors and the recent changes to Mentoring for ALPINE since the re-launch of the University Scheme.
