Servicedesk Bitesize

UHI Servicedesk create short bitesize training videos on systems specific to the university and some common problems users might be experiencing.

All staff who work across the partnership can access using your UHI Logon id. This online training resource has thousands of training videos for both personal and professional development. You can build playlists for yourself, teams and colleagues to provide tailored and focused development whether it be new software, dealing with software problems or getting a heads up on some forthcoming software launches.

From time to time, UHI Servicedesk will also publish recommended playlists for new software or corporate training requirements which are available through is not currently available to Students across UHI

What is MyUHI?

MyUHI let's you login to a virtual environment via Citrix to access your files and applications as if you were logging into a physical computer at the University/College/work place. MyUHI requires you to log into the service using your normal user name and password.

What is Helpdesk?

Helpdesk is the ticket logging system used by the University of the Highlands and Islands and it's partners.
You can use the helpdesk system to log your own tickets to us, check progress on your tickets that have been raised as well as search for a fix/answer within the FAQ's area.

Note: is only available through MyUHI or when logged into a UHI connected PC

Office 365

The University is now able to offer all staff and students, with a email account, the ability to download Microsoft Office 365 for free. This can be installed on up to 5 devices, and on a number of different operating systems.
