Our Guest…
This academic year our special guest series will focus on issues in communication and social responsibility. The term social responsibility is widely used today. It refers to the ideology that an individual or organisation should behave in a way that is not detrimental to society but instead benefits it. For example, there should be a balance in organisations between what they do for profit and the effect it has on society at large. For this series of events, we would specifically like to explore the perspectives of 3 individuals working in communication and how they feel about social responsibility in this area.
