Professional Experience

Barbara has been responsible for the delivery of ERI’s Outreach Strategy, and has contributed to knowledge exchange, research and commercial activity.

Her scientific experience includes monitoring benthic habitats, assessing community response to marine park designation and working for Scottish Natural Heritage (and NNC) as a conservation advisor, initially on marine topics and latterly on land use and agriculture. Over the years she has contributed to the development of environmental policy and legislation; worked with government and NGOs on European funding programmes. She managed the Turnkey project at ERI.
