Jerry Hendrix is the Executive Director for the Lone Star UAS Center of Excellence and Innovation. He is an aerospace leader having worked for industry including Boeing, L3 Communications and Camber for over 32 years. Jerry has supported FAA, NASA and DOD missions over his career and is a published author in technical journals in systems and software engineering.
Jerry was born in 1959 in central Georgia. He received his Associate of Mathematics degree from Gordon College in 1980, a Bachelors of Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1983 and performed graduate studies in Operations Analyses / Business Management at the University of Houston in 1985.
Jerry is a member of the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA), National Defense Industrial Agency (NDIA), National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA), American Helicopter Society and the Association of Unmanned Vehicles System International (AUVSI).
Jerry is a six time published author with awards for technical papers in systems engineering, computer language research and game technologies.
