Sport and leisure

• The college has its own sports hall and fitness suite at the Longman campus
• There is also a wide variety of sport and leisure facilities available in Inverness and the surrounding area.  Details of sports facilities in the area can be found on the Highland Council website
• The landscape around Inverness and the Highlands is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and offers tremendous scope for hill walking, climbing, watersports, mountain biking and other outdoor pursuits

Places to eat

• There are eating facilities at all of the college campuses
• In Inverness you will find a diverse range of cafes and restaurants offering food from many different cultures, as well as fantastic local produce

Shopping

• The main college campuses are within easy reach of Inverness city centre where there are plenty of shops, including the Eastgate Centre and a supermarket
• There is also a large retail park on the outskirts of Inverness, with a supermarket, cinema and leisure centre.  There is a good bus service between the city centre and the retail park

Public transport

• There is a bus stop in front of the Longman campus and a regular bus service runs to and from the college
• There are also good bus links to the other campuses
• The train station is in Inverness city centre and a short walk from the Longman and Midmills campuses
