Thinking of applying to study with us through clearing? We’re here to help you through it with our step-by-step guide.

Already applied for a course through UCAS?

Already applied for a course through UCAS?

  1. Check the status of your application on UCAS Track. If you’re in Clearing, your clearing number will be displayed. If your offer is still showing as conditional, it’s best to contact the university you applied with to find out why.
  2. Have a look at our full course listing, and make a note of any degree courses you are interested in.

    Our lines are open Monday to Friday, 9.00am until 5.00pm.
    Whilst our lines may be busy during Results Day, our Clearing advisors will do everything they can to answer your call as efficiently as possible, so you shouldn’t be waiting too long.
  4. If we offer you a place you will need to log on to UCAS Track and refer your application. You will need to select H49 – University of the Highlands and Islands, followed by the name of the course code, and your chosen campus from the drop down list of available study locations.
  5. You will receive an email from UCAS once we have confirmed your place through UCAS Track.
