Sean has been a PGA Professional for 6 years and started working at the University in October 2018.

Originally from Redditch, Worcestershire, Sean started out in the golf industry working at PGA National Golf Academy at The Belfry as a Custom Fit Technician. In 2012 he moved to Royal Dornoch as Assistant Professional, gaining invaluable experience throughout his training in all aspects of the industry. This resulted in him achieving the Titleist Scholarship Award and graduating and becoming a member of the PGA in 2015.

After six seasons in Dornoch, Sean decided he was ready for a new challenge, and took up the post of PGA Qualified Professional at Carnoustie Golf Links in 2017. Under the guidance of Colin Sinclair, Sean played an integral role in developing the retail operation, indoor performance centre and the Carnoustie Craws junior golf programme.  His experience at Carnoustie came to a head in 2018, hosting The Open Championship and an overseas staff exchange to the Country Club of Brookline.

Sean teaches on both the Golf Management and Professional Golf programmes and is also part of the tutor team for the PGA delivering the DipHe in Professional golf. His area of expertise are in equipment technology/repairs, coaching and retailing.
