How to apply

Undergraduate applicants

Once you have found a course you want to study the next step is to apply, and this can be done in two ways depending on the type of course you are applying for and your circumstances.

If you are currently at secondary school you must apply through the University and Colleges Admission Service (UCAS), using UHI code H49, if you are applying for:

• a full-time degree course OR
• you are also applying to other universities

Otherwise you can apply to UHI directly by downloading and printing our application form (pdf), completing and returning it to the address indicated.

If you are not currently at secondary school, you can apply to UHI directly as above, however you must apply through the University and Colleges Admission Service (UCAS), using UHI code H49, if you are also applying to other universities.

If you are an international applicant you can apply through the University and Colleges Admission Service (UCAS), using UHI code H49, or using the UHI International application form. Please download and print the form, complete and return using the address indicated. More information is available for international applicants.

Postgraduate applicants

If you want to apply for postgraduate study you should download and print the application form (pdf), then complete and return it to the address indicated.
