Clearing and late application
It's not too late to apply for a course with Clearing!
For a list of UHI courses with places remaining visit the UCAS Clearing page for UHI. You'll find detailed information on all UHI courses on our course pages.
Clearing applications must be made through UCAS. If you have applied to UCAS you will have a clearing entry number and your original UCAS application number which you will need to apply for a UHI course through the UCAS Clearing site, along with UHI's institution code H49.
Call our UHI Clearing helpline:
0845 272 3600 or by email
You can still apply to a UHI course through the UCAS Clearing service if:
- You aren't holding any offers from universities or colleges.
- Your offers weren't confirmed when your exam results were announced.
- You've declined, or not responded to, a changed course/date of entry/point of entry offer.
- Your application was too late for consideration before clearing. If your application was received after 30 June UCAS won't have sent it to your chosen universities or colleges.
Late applications
UHI accepts applications right up to the start of the course, provided that there are places left on your chosen course.
UHI offers courses in arts, social sciences and theology; creative studies; Gaelic medium studies; education and childcare; health; business and leisure; environmental and rural studies; engineering and construction; and science and technology.
For information on availability on particular courses, contact the admissions service at your chosen college and they will advise if there are still places left.
To make a late application, you can apply online or download an application form and return it to your chosen college.
