About usThe UHI Gaelic Development team includes Anna Walker, the Gaelic Strategy Development Officer, and Louise NicIlleathain, the Gaelic Development Officer. Both are core funded and report to the Principal’s Office. UHI has also recently appointed seven new members of staff as part of its executive office team in order to take forward implementation of its first Gaelic language plan (in draft form at present). All of these posts are funded by Bòrd na Gàidhlig through the Gaelic Language Act Implementation Fund and the European Social Fund. |
