Supporters of UHI
UHI Millennium Institute has now seen more than 5,000 students successfully graduating from its courses. If you are one of these graduates, you should be proud to call yourself part of the alumni of UHI Millennium Institute. Welcome to one of the most exciting and historical developments in the Highlands and Islands!
This year many students are about to embark on programmes with UHI and as time goes on more new graduates will be creating an expanding family of UHI alumni who will maintain a strong contact with UHI Millennium Institute.
The first generations of alumni are already making an impact throughout the Highlands and Islands, and indeed, the rest of the UK. The UHI results from the destination of leavers survey 2004-2005, were the best in the whole of Scotland, with 96.6% of our graduates going on to employment or further study, so it shows that all the hard work does eventually pay off!
Through the alumni's web pages, it is our intention to provide you with continued support after graduation, in the form of advice to help promote skills in the workplace and the provision of discussion forums as well as various other services. You'll find news updates and stories on current and past UHI students in our alumni newsletter, which as a member of the UHI alumni community, you should receive. Read the latest newsletter online.
Please contact us with any new information such as new addresses so that we may help you to keep in touch with fellow alumni. We are also keen to know about your achievements and any comments or ideas you have which are relevant to UHI and/or its alumni. So keep in touch!
