• Deputy Director of Finance

  This is a new role required to lead the finance management processes and to support the implementation of the finance strategy at UHI.  This role will be responsible for ensuring that finance processes and procedures within UHI are effective and efficient; that processes evolve to meet the changing needs of UHI Millennium Institute; and for coordinating implementation of financial strategy under the guidance of the Director of Finance and Performance Management.

• Lecturer in Mass Spectrometry

  This post has been created to support a newly appointed Professor in the development of a Lipidomic Research Facility within the Department of Diabetes & Cardiovascular Science at the UHI Millennium Institute in Inverness, Scotland.  The successful candidate will have a track record in winning grant funding and publishing high-class papers in the field of mass spectrometry for lipid analysis, with a specific interest in diabetes, cardiovascular disease, inflammation or oxidative stress.

• Programme Management Officer
  £32,232 - £37,365 pa; closing date 23 February 2010
  Based in Inverness, you will report to the Head of Programme Management, with responsibility for driving the delivery of a variety of projects within one or more programmes. You will also manage the relationship between the project and programme environment to ensure that there are clear communication, escalation and stakeholder plans in place and that these are managed to ensure identification, visibility and resolution of issues and risks within agreed timeframes.

• Programme Management Co-ordinator
  £21,309 - £26,207 pa; closing date 23 February 2010
  Based in Inverness, you will report to the Head of Programme Management, developing procedures and documentation for UHI internal project management including information on process, structural funds eligibility, project management & delivery, timesheets, reporting and claims administration.
