UHI Millennium Institute (UHI) provides university-level education through a unique partnership of thirteen colleges and research institutions located throughout the Highlands & Islands. Designated as a higher education institution in April 2001, we are working together to create a fully established university.
A new post has been created to support a newly appointed Professor in the development of a Lipidomic Research Facility within the Department of Diabetes & Cardiovascular Science at the UHI Millennium Institute in Inverness, Scotland. The successful candidate will have a track record in winning grant funding and publishing high-class papers in the field of mass spectrometry for lipid analysis, with a specific interest in diabetes, cardiovascular disease, inflammation or oxidative stress.
The post will appeal to established researchers who are seeking a new challenge to progress their career.
The closing date is Friday 12 February 2010.
Interviews will be held in March at the Centre for Health Science in Inverness.
