Based on Britain’s most northerly islands, Shetland College UHI is an inspiring place to study and live with a lively social and cultural scene and great educational facilities.
Contemporary Textiles, Orkney & Shetland Studies and Scottish History & Archaeology.
It’s just very open, it’s very independent and it’s really down to you, and I certainly would recommend it. Sean Elphinstone, BSc Computing HE Student of the year
Shetland College is very good at making students aware of any activities/events happening around the college and how you can be involved. Just recently, I have been to Norway through Shetland College, working in a Kindergarden for 3 weeks. I have gained so much from participating in the exchange, and the experience is one I will never forget. Vanessa Mainland, Early Education and Childcare Student
I’ve been at the college for 2 years now. It’s only part-time for me as it’s part of a joinery apprenticeship. I just keep thinking that at the end of it all I’ll have a set of useful skills and a decent qualification. I have just finished my time at the college but I’ll be going back to study Advanced Craft. Theo Jamieson, Carpentry & Joinery FE Student of the Year
