Centre for Health Science
The Centre for Health Science is a state of the art facility located in the capital city of the Scottish Highlands, Inverness.
We purchased the centre in 2019 to help fulfil our growing aspirations in the health, social care and life sciences areas.
The university conducts world-leading research in the building, including research in diabetes and cardiovascular science, proteomics, lipidomics and genetics and immunology, as well as working to advance knowledge of health and health services in rural areas. Our undergraduate degree in oral health science, our contribution to the Scottish graduate entry medical programme and, for the last two years, our department of nursing and midwifery can also be found here.
The Cafe is based in the 'street' area of the Centre for Health Science and offers a range of healthy eating options such as soup, sandwiches and various snacks and drinks.
The Cafe is run by NHS Highland and is open to building users and the public all year round, so why not enjoy the lively atmosphere of the Centre whilst supping on a cappucino!
