UHI internal telephone service
The UHI has a private internal telephone system that connects all academic partners campuses.
The Alcatel telephone system is very sophisticated and provides a range of facilities that make it ideal for multi-point telephone conferencing.
When is the service available?
This service should be available for use 24 hours, 365 days a year. There will be times when we need to carryout essential maintenance work, either to address a service fault, or for service improvement work. We will endeavour to give notice of any work that will require an outage but this may not always be possible.

How do I report a problem?
If you have problems with this service please log this through the Unidesk self-service form
Voicemail is available through the handset or online at https://otms.uhi.ac.uk/MyMessaging/, where you can also turn on "forward to voicemail" from outside your office and set voicemails to be copied to you by email.
Q: I need to move my telephone, how do I arrange this?
A: Depending on where you are located different rules may be in place. In the first instance please log a call through the Unidesk self-service form
Q: How do I connect to my local operator?
A: Dialling 0 should connect you.
