This free session is provided by Waverley Care and will explore of some of the issues faced by LGBT+ people (including coming out, discrimination, homophobia, etc) and gives an overview of terminology and language. We will explore equality and diversity legislation from an LGBT+ perspective and support participants to improve their own practice and build LGBT+ inclusive services across Highland.

This event has been organised by Highland Pride as part of Winter Pride 2020, a month of events throughout February 2020 to coincide with LGBT History Month. Highland Pride is a project run by the Highland LGBT Forum, which is a charity based across the Highlands and has a committee of volunteers drawn from the local LGBTQ+ community. The charity aim to promote and organise social events where everyone is welcome. Charity registered in Scotland No. SC039528.
