The second in a series of Institute of Directors lectures hosted by the University and its academic partners.
William Dowson (left) joined the Agency for Scotland in March 2010. Prior to that, he spent 2 1/2 years as Deputy Agent for the North East. William joined the Bank in 1995. He was a Senior Manager in the Bank's Foreign Exchange Division before moving to the Agencies. His previous roles included working in the Sterling Markets, Payments Systems and Risk Management Divisions. He has a BSc in Business Studies and an MSc in Finance, both from the University of London. His outside interests include sailing and walking.
