Slke Reeploeg of the University of the Highlands and Islands Centre for Nordic Studies will give a talk entitled: Civilising the North: The ‘sturdy mountaineer’ in 19th Century Norwegian and Scottish history and literature.

The lecture is part of the Centre for History seminar series and can be attended via video conference at Ross House, Dornoch or Inverness College UHI.

The talk is FREE, but attendees must book a place in advance by emailing Dr Kathrin Zickermann. All welcome!
