Shetland 24 - 28 June 2013

In 2013, the Centre for Nordic Studies at the University of the Highlands and Islands in Orkney and Shetland is hosting two Viking Culture Summer Courses. The courses are open to all, and whereas the quality of the teaching is at university level, it is not necessary to be a university student or hold any qualification to enter the courses. Each course runs over five days; the Shetland course running from the 24th to the 28th of June, and the Orkney course from the 1st to the 5th of July. The courses will encompass lectures by expert speakers as well as guided tours to Viking sites in the Northern Isles.

Cost

£495 per week, to include all lectures and field trips.

Local island residents: £345 (local summer course only).
