IT & Digital Infrastructure

IT & Digital Infrastructure (ITDI) provides central support for IT systems, networking, web-based learning, video conferencing, library services, management information and enterprise applications. There are currently around 50 members of ITDI staff based at various locations across the Highlands and Islands. ITDI works in conjunction with Academic Partners who also employ IT, library, and student records and management information staff.

Services delivered to the UHI partnership include the student records system, Office 365, virtual learning environment, library management system, e-resources provision, videoconferencing, networking, telephony, vulnerability scanning and applications delivery.

The  Administrative Officer role provides specialist administrative support to the ITDI department, ensuring that equipment, licenses, and services are purchased in an effective and timely manner. We are looking for someone with keen attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a conscientious approach to their work.
