Finance Administration Assistant

Salary range £19,400 - £23,860 per annum
Working hours35 hours per week

This role is within the finance team to support the Finance Managers and Finance Director in providing effective and efficient financial services for the University of the Highlands and Islands.  The role will cover a varied number of tasks including payroll, accounts payable and receivable and project claim evidencing, with associated filing and record keeping.

While accounting experience and/or qualifications are desirable, demonstrating good numeracy and accuracy and a conscientious approach to completing tasks is crucial.  You will have excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.  Experience of other accounting functions, such as Accounts Payable and Receivable and General Ledger would also be desirable but not essential.
