Health Research Governance Officer 0.4 FTE

Salary range £24,943 - £30,681
Working hours14 hours per week

Applications are invited for a new post of Health Research Governance Officer to join the expanding School of Health, Social Care and Life Sciences. Working with the Vice Principal Research and Impact, Head of School of Health, Research Office and School Research Committee, the post holder will provide bespoke health research governance guidance and support to health researchers within the school, and associated university partnership. They will be responsible for establishing health research governance processes and providing a point of contact for information and advice for all health-related researchers. The post holder will work closely with colleagues from the regional NHS health boards.

Candidate experience requirements:

  • Managing research governance
  • Academic research
  • Working with HEIs
  • HEI research ethics processes.
  • Resource repository development.
  • Distributed HEI model knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of models of health care.
