The role of Information and Communications Assistant presents an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join the Learning and Teaching Academy (LTA) team and support the promotion and delivery of a wide range of LTA events and initiatives including those relating to scholarship, research, open education, professional development and professional recognition.
This new role will have a responsibility to provide administrative support for LTA events including the Learning and Teaching Conference; symposia; workshops and webinars. The role will also have significant responsibility for the organisation of LTA review panels relating to professional recognition, development and funding. You will also play an important role in the marketing and communications activities of the LTA including the maintenance of our digital and social media presence.
You will be self-organised, with a willingness to learn, good attention to detail and an ability to work well with others. You will also be able to work well with digital technology and use a range of software packages for documents, reports, presentations and communication. Ideally, you will also have an interest in and or knowledge of the further or higher education sector.
