Information Line Operator

Salary range £21,101 - £24,460 per annum

The service provides the first point of contact for enquiries from prospective students directed to the university through various channels.

As an information line operator, you will process enquiries from prospective students directed to the university by phone, email, and post, using available information systems and resources, ensuring these are handled in an efficient, prompt, professional and friendly manner.

Responsibilities include handling inbound enquiries and providing the requested information, conducting outbound calls to enhance our recruitment process, ensuring a professional service is provided at all times.

You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have experience of operating a customer service enquiry system across a range of channels (e.g., phone, e-mail etc.) We are looking for a flexible, organised candidate with the ability to build effective working relationships in a complex and distributed organisation.

Applicants should be educated to degree level or be able to demonstrate significant relevant work experience.
