Salary range £35,696 - £41,382 per annum
Working hours35 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen to support delivery of adult nursing education within the Department of Nursing and we are therefore seeking to recruit an experienced nurse or nursing lecturer to contribute to the delivery of an established nursing undergraduate programme. The successful candidate will join a team committed to enhancing nursing education and healthcare across the Highland and Islands and further afield. The successful candidate will be dynamic, enthusiastic, flexible and innovative and have excellent communication skills. This is an academic post within the Department of Nursing and which is part of a wider established academic team, involving nursing education, scholarly activity and research. 

As part of a nursing and wider multi-disciplinary and academic team, you will work to the advancement of adult nursing education within the University and contribute to the planning and teaching of high quality nursing educational opportunities and scholarship activity. You will be a registered adult nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with excellent knowledge and understanding of contemporary aspects of nursing practice and policy and have experience of nurse education within a practice or education setting.
