The Optometry Team at the School of Health, Social Care and Life Sciences, seeks to employ Optometry Demonstrator/Facilitator Staff on a 0.2 FTE basis for up to 10 weeks. Hours whilst variable are anticipated as 7 hours per week.

Your work will involve providing Facilitator support to the delivery of the problem-based learning modules within the BSc (Hons) Optometry Curriculum. The Demonstrator/Facilitator introduces the students to the problem (case) providing them with information which allows them to define their topics for research, understand the problem that the case is representing and set learning goals. The facilitator is responsible for the delivery of 2 facilitated sessions per week.

This role would suit current PhD students studying at The Centre for Health Science or have an interest in Optometry.
