Senior Research Associate (0.8 FTE)

The post provides an opportunity to lead on the delivery of two innovative co-design projects, while working with an experienced research team. The first project is the Experience-based Modifications of the Bed Band ReAlised through Co-dEsign Project (EMBRACE) funded via the Health and Life Science Innovation Funds. The project will require the post holder to facilitate recruitment of people with upper mobility conditions and their carers who may benefit from using the Bed Band positional cushion. Data collection will involve online Teams or telephone interviews to obtain users feedback and suggestions to adapt and improve the Bed Band. The postholder will lead the analysis and assist with dissemination of the findings.
The second project is a Blended Approach to Dementia Training for Excellence [BADTE]. The aim of this project is to evaluate the dementia training delivered across three different contexts [ Care Homes, Home Care and Nurse Higher Education] using a blended approach for the first time. This will involve recruitment, qualitative interviews and data analysis, as well as the analysis of a quantitative survey data.
