Student Development Officer

As our Student Development Officer, you will be providing administrative support to the National Students’ Survey and managing the running and development of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award through our academic partners. You will also be supporting student engagement generally through the organisation of a number of committees and groups, maintaining surveys and implementing new methods of providing feedback on the survey results’ actions.
As part of the Student Services Department, you will work to support the wider team in enabling students to participate fully in their university experience.
The successful candidate will have an HND or degree (or equivalent experiential learning) as well as experience of working independently. You will need to be I.T. literate and able to problem solve, keen to develop your expertise in a new area and able to work without close supervision within a physically dispersed team. Some travel will be required as part of this role.
This position will suit a self-motivated individual who enjoys working without close supervision to develop solutions to objectives they are tasked to deliver.
