We are seeking an individual with the interest and skills to undertake a new post in our team as STEM Curator. The post holder works with the STEM Coordinators based across UHI region and supports the STEM Development Manager in ensuring STEM materials, content and resources used in outreach and engagement activities is maintained and updated in line with national requirements (e.g., curriculum for excellence). The role will involve developing new, and maintaining existing content in various formats including VLE, with a focus on the management of UHI STEM materials held and ensuring consistency of materials/content used across the regional STEM team. The role involves curating and signposting to other available STEM resources by developing and maintaining a presence across the wider STEM network. Other aspects of the role include supporting and sourcing income generation for UHI STEM initiatives through grants, gifts, and other funding and coordination of the regional UHI STEM community engagement plan which incorporates larger annual events supported by the UHI STEM team. We are looking for someone who can start asap as the new UHI STEM development outreach programme commences from January 2023.
