The web manager will work as part of the corporate communications team to lead on the development and delivery of UHI’s web presence. As a senior member of the corporate communications team, you should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to develop great working relationships with a range of colleagues – many of whom are not experts in this field. 

We’re looking for a candidate with experience of leading enterprise web activity for a substantial organisation. The web manager is responsible for a team of two who together manage a web content management system (Terminal Four site manager), search (Funnelback), videography, a shared design approach for multiple websites, CMS training and web analytics. This team works closely with colleagues in the wider corporate communications team to support the UHI partnership across a range of professional services for both project and ongoing initiatives. The team also delivers an internal consultancy service across the partnership supporting 12 websites.

We’d like to hear about your experience of these in your professional journey so far: budget management, people management, procurement, accessibility, usability, design, HTML and CSS, client- and server-side script, databases, authentication, analytics, user-testing, data protection, copyright, consumer legislation, training, helpdesk call management.
