These videos can be used in a number of ways – both in the classroom as a teaching resource for employability in relation to a future in the Gaelic sector, and as a self-directed learning resource.

To build on the content covered in these videos, individuals or groups could carry out the following task:

• Take a look at the Gaelic toolkit available on the University website.
• Consider how both speakers in this video can use Gaelic in different ways for their roles at the UHI.
• Think about the fact that Gaelic usage is spread across a number of sectors and occupations and identify the organisations with essential/ desirable Gaelic posts and the potential career opportunities available to you with your level of Gaelic.
