Online Storyteller

The online storyteller is a new resource for 2017 for all students and graduates (up to two years after graduation). Using this online software you can reflect on your career journey so far and record information about your likes, dislikes, strengths, networks and so on. This information creates an online profile that can be used to develop your career ideas and focus on your next steps.

To access the online storyteller you must register using the form below. You will then be matched with a storytelling professional at your college or with the university careers team. This person will then contact you to arrange a time to meet (in person or by telephone or videolink) to get you started on the platform. We currently have nine storytelling professionals available :

Information you provide will be used by the Careers and Employability Centre for statistical purposes to monitor uptake of the online storyteller. Please note that any information uploaded to the online storyteller will be available to your storyteller professional, who will work closely with you and support your use of the system. Your information will also be accessible by the other storyteller professionals registered with the system. This includes members of staff from student support roles based from around the university partnership. The information you upload into the system will not be shared with any other members of staff within the university or anyone else. Your record on the system will be archived after you have finished using the software.
