The Sporting Blues awards scheme is a new opportunity to recognise sporting achievement within our student community!
The Sporting Blues awards scheme was launched in March 2017 to recognise the sporting achievements of our students. The awards scheme, which is a joint initiative between the university and the Highlands and Islands Students’ Association (HISA), is the first of its kind in the highlands and islands.
There are 4 different awards categories, these are:
Full Blues – awarded to students who have broken records or simply achieved outstanding performance in their sport.
Half Blues – awarded to students who have competed at national level.
Colours – awarded to students who have represented their club in over 65% of eligible matches.
Sportsperson of the Year – selected from the students being awarded a Full Blue award.
See Sporting Blues Criteria for further category information.
