As your regional university we want to ensure that we are responding and adapting to your changing needs, known and unknown.

Yes. We are working together with colleagues across our partnership to adapt and respond to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and the restrictions currently in place.

As you will be aware the university partnership is now delivering all teaching and learning online to help reduce the risk of spread of coronavirus within our communities and to keep staff and students safe. Please do stay in touch with the course leader or your regular contact to keep up to date with the teaching and assessment arrangements and your involvement.

Yes. The university has a dedicated careers service which has experienced staff who help the university’s students and graduates find appropriate recruitment and engagement opportunities.

We operate a jobs database, called 'Future Me', where your requirements can be listed free of charge, enabling your opportunities to be promoted to students who are best matched to your requirements. Opportunities can include paid employment, work experience, student projects, internships and volunteering activities.

I noticed that the university has created an Emergency Study Fund, who do I contact to discuss how I might contribute to the fund?

The emergency study fund has been created to help students who do not have access to a personal laptop to be able to continue their studies or who are struggling financially as a result of the coronavirus, and not eligible for discretionary funds. Please contact the development team to discuss how to support students now and in the future.
