Yes. Many of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses are still accepting applications for the 2020/21 academic year, so we would encourage you to apply following the application guidance on our website.

We have specific application guidance for Erasmus, Exchange and Study Abroad applicants.

Many IELTS test centres (and other English language providers) are opening up again in several countries including in the UK, please check the list for IELTS centres that are now open.

If you are still unable to find a test centre, we have a number of approved English Language tests including LanguageCert International Communicator ESOL B2 - this test can either be taken online with remote invigilation or at a test centre. If you are unable to book an approved English Language test due to closures, please contact admissions@uhi.ac.uk for guidance.

Please note: we do not accept the IELTS indicator test. Also note the restrictions that apply to Tier 4 applicants.

Yes. We appreciate that there may be unavoidable delays in obtaining and submitting supporting documentation such as English language qualifications, copies of official examination certificates and transcripts, etc. If you are concerned about your application, please contact international@uhi.ac.uk for guidance.

We are aware that visa centres are now closed in some countries and we hope that they will reopen before students need to apply for their visa. However, we continue to keep the situation under review and encourage applicants to check the information provided by UK Visas and immigration.

We are preparing to welcome students as usual this year. The dates specific to your course will be outlined in your offer letter. We are committed to supporting applicants to take up their place as expected, however, we are continually reviewing government guidance and will update you as soon as possible with any alternative arrangements.
