The Highland Society of London Award
The Highland Society of London Award is a prize worth £1000, to be awarded to the undergraduate student with the best Highlands & Islands themed dissertation in the Humanities and Gaelic subject network. To be considered, dissertations must have achieved a grade ‘A’ and include substantive content directly and solely relating to a social, cultural or historical aspect of the Highlands and Islands (comparative studies will not be eligible). There is no need to apply for this prize - eligible dissertations will automatically be considered. This prize is kindly donated by The Highland Society of London: a charity founded in 1778, whose activities promote and support the traditions and culture of the Highlands of Scotland.
