Key Information Sets
What are Key Information Sets?
As part of a government initiative Key Information Sets have been developed to enhance the information that higher education institutions provide about their Degree and Higher National Diploma programmes.
Key Information Sets are available for most undergraduate programmes and are intended to make it easier for you to find information about the programmes you are interested in studying from all higher education institutions. The information includes official data for undergraduate courses on each university and college’s satisfaction scores in the National Student Survey, jobs and salaries after study and other key information for prospective students.
Where can I find the Key Information Sets?
The Key Information Sets for most of our Degree and Higher National Diploma programmes can be found on the official website for comparing UK higher education course data: www.unistats.direct.gov.uk or alternatively you can see a widget on each individual course page on our website which will allow you to click through to the Unistats website for further information.
Are the Key Information Sets the only source of information available to me when choosing a course?
Making the right choice is very important and that is why there are many sources of information available that will guide you and help you to make an informed decision on what and where to study, our website is a great starting point in helping you find out more information on our courses and the environment in which you will learn at the University of the Highlands and Islands.
