Biography

Abbi Tracey

Based at the Centre for Health Science in Inverness, I work as a Lecturer within the Department of Nursing and Midwifery for The University of the Highlands and Islands.

I have been a registered nurse since 2008 and have worked in acute stroke and critical care settings in Glasgow and Inverness. I joined UHI as a lecturer in 2018 and my professional interests include palliative care in the acute setting, acute stroke and simulation based nursing education.

Responsibilities

Abbi is Cohort Lead for the 2019 cohort. She is involved in teaching and assessment throughout the undergraduate nursing programme and is Module Lead for the Year 3 module Managing Complexity in Nursing Practice 2. She is also involved in the postgraduate programme module Clinical Assessment for Advanced Practitioners and is a supervisor for the MSc dissertation.
