Undergraduate entry requirements for humanities degrees

Basic entry requirements to year one

Three Highers at a minimum of BBC, normally achieved in one sitting. At least two of these should be from the following list of relevant academic subjects.

Specific requirement:  BA (Hons) Literature requires Higher English at C or above (plus one Higher from the relevant subjects list)

Applicants with other relevant qualifications and/or experience will be considered on an individual basis.

Requirements for direct entry to year two

Applicants must have the HNC Social Sciences plus 3 additional SQA credits, adding up to 120 points and at least grade C in the Graded Unit.
