Future Leaders Fund
The Future Leaders Fund is supported by Fred. Olsen Seawind and Vattenfall, the bursary offers £5,000 annually (up to 4 years) to a student studying either HNC Civil Engineering or HNC Engineering Systems.
Deadline
25 August 2023The bursary for the student will be to the value of £5,000 per year (up to 4 years) paid in two instalments each semester, the maximum award the student will receive is £20,000 if completing the 4 year honours degree.
The bursary is focussed on retaining high achieving and talented students in the region.
Selection criteria
The bursary will be awarded based on the following three areas:
- Personal Statement
- Academic success and career potential
- Financial situation
Eligibility
- You must be a student undertaking either HNC Civil Engineering or HNC Engineering Systems
- You must be domiciled in Scotland
- Your tuition fees are being paid by SAAS
How to apply
To be accepted for the bursary you will need to have applied to UHI for a place starting in September 2023; to be awarded the bursary you must receive and then firmly accept an offer, either conditional or unconditional for a place on the course.
