School Skills and Career Event
Wednesday 11th March | UHI Inverness Campus
As part of the IGNITE 2026, UHI Inverness is excited to host a Skills & Careers Event for S2, S3 and S4 pupils from local secondary schools.
This event will give young people the chance to discover the exciting world of STEM careers through hands-on activities, interactive workshops and real-world insights from employers. A wide range of local STEM businesses will be in attendance, including BEAR Scotland, ScotRail, Gael Force Group and many more, all ready to showcase the skills, technologies and career pathways shaping the Highlands and beyond.
Pupils will have the opportunity to:
- Explore a variety of STEM careers and industries
- Take part in fun, practical activities led by employers
- Learn about future skills and training pathways
- Speak directly with professionals working in STEM roles
Pupils must register for the event via their school.
