Building Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) skills is vital to the future of the Highlands and Islands and we are committed to promoting STEM subjects and careers in the local area.
Generously supported by SSE, the University of the Highlands and Islands STEM team offers a range of fully funded programmes to support primary schools and secondary schools in the Highland Council area.
Our three main aims are;

Capacity - We aim to provide schools access to equpiment and teaching resources to aid with STEM learning and teaching
Culture - We aim to work with more than one practitioner within each school to increase in-school support and embed STEM within the school
