Entry requirements

  • Applicants should be working within a leadership or managerial role and ideally possess Level 6/7 qualifications, such as 2 Scottish Highers at grade C or above, or equivalent
  • Applicants with other relevant qualifications or experience will also be considered

How will I study my course?

  • Part-time
  • Part-time modular (standalone modules)
  • This is a work-based qualification: learning happens in the workplace and is supported by block-release delivery, giving you time outside of your work environment to undertake certain elements of the course
  • The course is mainly delivered online with scheduled sessions and tutorials
  • Online study will be done via the university's virtual learning environment (VLE), with support from your tutors
  • You may also study in-person, either on campus or at your place of work
  • The course will be supported by a lecturer and delivered either face to face or virtually. It will run either during the day or in the evening, depending on the cohort. Businesses can have the course delivered to their own cohort, either on their own premises, at UHI Moray, or by virtual delivery
  • You will take part in a mandatory induction, either in-person or online, in week 1 of your course

How long will my course last?

  • Part-time: 30 weeks @ 2.5-5 hours per week (10 weeks per module x 3 modules)
  • Part-time modular: 10 weeks @ 2.5-5 hours per week (per module)

The number of hours indicates the total time you should dedicate to each module, which includes time spent on online material as well as individual study and research.
