A History of Crofting mural prepared by the Young Curators Club for conference
The Young Curators Club (YCC) from the Historylinks Museum, Dornoch, Sutherland prepared a wonderful mural, 'A History of Crofting', reflecting on Jim Hunter's work and especially 'The Making of the Crofting Community'.
It's been a few months since our Community, Resistance and Resilience conference in June, but we would like to look back and thank some of the amazing collaborators whose contributions played a vital part in ensuring the event was a success.
We were delighted that some of the Young Curators were able to visit us on the second day of the conference to discuss the mural and their interpretations with Prof Emeritus Jim Hunter and our Dr Elizabeth Ritchie. A big thank you to the staff, the Young Curators and their parents for making this possible!
